Newborn
My newborn sessions take place in your own home. You don't need a perfect or 'photo worthy' space. These photographs are meant t0 evoke emotions and remind you of how these early days felt when you look back on them.
An in-home newborn session includes:
- A pre - session questionnaire to help us plan.
- A PDF guide, so you know what to expect on the day.
- I don't set a time limit on my newborn sessions - we can't plan for how baby will be on the day - sometimes they need extra cuddles and feeds, so we never rush.
- Use of some beautiful newborn knits and blankets.
- A private, online gallery where you can view your images from the comfort of home.
- 12 high-quality and lovingly edited images of your choice, with the option to upgrade to the full gallery (40+).

Maternity
The ideal time for a maternity session is between 28 and 34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully defined but you're still comfortable enough to enjoy it. Sessions can be held at home or outdoors, where ever feels natural to you.
Your maternity session includes:

- A PDF guide, so you know what to expect on the day.
- I don't time my sessions but usually around an hour is enough to capture what we need!
- Use of some beautiful maternity dresses, should you wish to borrow anything.
- A private, online gallery where you can view your images from the comfort of home.
- 12 high-quality and lovingly edited images of your choice, with the option to upgrade to the full gallery (40+).

My family sessions focus on connection, not perfection. Child led and focused on quality time, we can do sessions in your home or outdoors.
Your family session includes:

Did you know, I also work with businesses and creatives to create natural, storytelling branding imagery that feels authentic to you.
Your branding session includes:
- To get to know you, your vision and your brand, I usually like to either schedule a call or a relaxed meeting (think more along the lines of a chilled out coffee in advance).

- I don't time my sessions and each branding shoot is so unique, we can work out timings together in our catch up beforehand.

Frequently asked questions
Where do sessions take place?
Sessions can take place in-home (recommended for newborn) or outdoors. Jersey is full of beautiful locations, we have many stunning beaches but also countryside and woodland worth exploring. You may already know where you want your session to take place but I'm more than happy to offer suggestions and recommendations based on the sort of photographs you're hoping to capture.
What if my children won't stay still?
Honestly, this is expected and completely okay! The beauty of the natural, lifestyle sessions I do is that the photographs are even better when they're showing your children's personalities. Who they are at this age, what their interests and characters are like. I always try to start the session with one 'everyone look at the camera' photo - grandparents love these ones! Sometimes it works, sometimes It doesn't but what we will always achieve is a gallery full of fun, natural and relaxed photos.
What do we wear?
I always recommend sticking to soft and earthy colours. Plain clothes or gentle patterns. You don't necessarily want to match exactly but sticking to a similar colour palette works beautifully. I do have a few maternity dresses available for use and some lovely newborn knits and blankets I always bring along just in case. There's more on session styling in the PDF session guide you'll receive upon booking.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
I always endeavour to deliver your gallery within two weeks of the session, however, during particularly busy periods it could be up to three weeks - if this is the case, I'll always let you know in advance.
Can we upgrade after seeing the gallery?
Absolutely. There's no need to decide in advance. I will send you a fully edited proof gallery where you'll be able to view your images and from there you can either pick 12 or upgrade to one of my packages.
Why do clients choose to upgrade?
The magic of your session lies in all the small moments and in-betweens. Choosing the full gallery means you'll remember it all, as it happened. And why keep your memories on a digital device when you could have beautiful, high - quality prints displayed in your home. Your memories deserve to be seen and treasured.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If the weather is bad on the day of your outdoor session, we'll reschedule for the next suitable date.
Can grandparents or extended family join in?
Yes, of course! Your session is personal to you and you're welcome to include other family members. Pets are also welcome/encouraged.
